LOL, i found this picture to be funny because i do alternate from different positions while i sleep, though where’s “the starfish”, everyone knows the starfish: sleeping with you arms and legs in the “jumping jack” position..

  10. i remember last summer i was on the train, complaining to my company of the extremely hot weather, paying no attention to the muslim woman who sat next to me. i looked down at my choice of attire: daisy dukes, tank top and flip flops, then glanced at her not so, what i assumed, particularly chosen attire complete with: her burqa (bur-ka) which is the garment which kept everything (except her eyes) to the imagination. suddenly i felt underdressed, i wondered if she felt overdressed? though it is a major part of the islamic religion and culture, i wondered if the women had their choice of how they wanted to dress, how many of them would stick to their long standing tradition. but this realization boggled my mind more than anything, which was, honestly, do muslims believe by keeping a girl-child/ woman covered meant she was sacred because she didn’t expose her skin to the world? or is it in the insecurities of the men who, i assume, translated the qur’an and instilled these particular rules for “their” females?

black love is beautiful.
i love to see beautiful couples in love. not the cheesy-i-wont-let-you-breathe-because-i’m-suffocating-you-with-my-tongue-down-your-throat kinda love but genuine happiness and affection. love that isn’t jealous or afraid to be real.
